π― Chronic Tacos Strives to be Spec-TACO-lar
βItβs a more authentic spin on fast-casual Mexican food,β says Patrick Becherer, Owner of Chronic Tacos in Orlando, βWeβre not afraid to spend more time with the customer in cooking food for them because we do things in-house.β
This laid-back chain features Chipotle-style service and made-to-order meals, including Bowl-ritoβs, Tostada Bowls, and Chronic Fries. Check out our take on these tacos!
Beyond Beef Bowl
Their βBeyond Beef" meals provide vegans with a plant-based protein option, which taste like real meat! This tastes great alongside a cup of guac and a squeeze of lime.
Shrimp Tacos
I ordered shrimp two ways, beer-battered and sauteed, and Baja-style. The tacos tasted well-seasoned and a squirt of lime really brought out the Baja-style.
Taco Styles
My favorite protein option is the Carnitas, which are trimmed in-house and marinated overnight. The pork shoulder is slow-cooked for three hours.
Chronic Fries
These loaded fries are crack. Theyβre made fresh from fryer, and can be topped with protein choices like Pollo Asado or Carne Asada.
βI want to re-do good food with a good atmosphere. Weβre looking to get a beer license so we can have selections on drafts that compliment the food,β mentions Patrick, as he looks toward the future.
