🥞 Cute Creativity at Claire's Creperie
“I had no professional training in the culinary industry, but I had a dream and all I needed was a chance,” says Claire, Owner of Claire’s Creperie in Downtown Mount Dora. She grew up making crêpes for her mother in bed for special occasions. Now, Claire cooks crêpes for international students that she and her husband host in their home. The Mount Dora Marketplace fished for local vendors to fill its vacant slots, posing an opportunity Claire couldn’t refuse with her delicious crêpes.
This small shop is tucked in a corner of The Mount Dora Marketplace, a new Food Hall concept in Downtown. The crêperie serves sweet, savory, and breakfast crêpes all day, trying their best to use local produce when they can. Take a peek at our eats!

The Something Good crêpe is filled with a cheesecake cream that’s subtle and airy, yet still decadent with strawberries. Nutella, strawberry, banana, and whipped topping are a classic dessert trio in the Croatian crêpe.
This cute crêperie offers a variety of menu items, holding options that fit particular diets (i. e. vegetarian, paleo, etc.) Claire lives a robust life as a nurse in an intensive care unit, as well as a host for international students.
“As a nurse, I see people who thought they would have more time ahead,” clarifies Claire, “This taught me not to wait; if the doors open, just jump.”
