You’re riding the escalators into Disney Springs, welcomed by a striking view of Aerophile, the ornate hot air balloon that gently sways like a buoy in calm water.

Sipping colorful cocktails with a waterside view is an optimal way to take advantage of the sunshiny weather, so you stroll your way to Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar across the bridge.

The restaurant has a relaxing, bright ambiance while holding an adventurous vibe. The hangar-themed dive bar feels cinematically vintage, illustrated through detailed plane fixtures and cargo decor. The aesthetic illustrates the ex-home of Indiana Jones' sidekick and pilot, Jock Lindsey.

“We’ve kept flavors familiar to the area while still pushing some boundaries,” mentions Gary, Chef of Disney Springs who oversees several eateries in the complex. “We have a good balance of chemistry between our small bites and shareable plates.”

Jock would travel to different countries as a pilot, so the restaurant incorporates diverse flavors from various regions of the globe. The chef prepares you several tapas to highlight the restaurant’s venturesome personality.

🍹 Cocktails

Fruity cocktails include the Cool-headed Monkey, which is a concoction of Starr African rum, Van Der Hum tangerine liqueur, watermelon, and pineapple for brightness. Other cocktails have a more cool tone, such as the Hovito Mojito, composed of Barsol Quebranta Pisco, lime juice, mint, and Simple Syrup.

🌮 Tacos

The Al Pastor taco has a sweet-savory flare, filled with citrus-chipotle pork belly. The pineapple pico de gallo provides an additional tang. Contrastingly, the tuna taco holds a zesty umami. It’s filled with togarashi-spiced ahi tuna, avocado crema, pico de Gallo, and red cabbage.

🥖 Flatbreads

The date flatbread is topped with Medjoul dates and manchego cheese. Frisee, crispy prosciutto, and red onion add more depth, while the balsamic glaze adds a tang. The Margherita features roasted heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and balsamic glaze.

🥩 Churrasco

Dr. Forrestal’s Churrasco features grilled flank steak, served with Pumpkin Seed Chimichurri. The bright flavor of the sauce is complimented by the fried sweet plantains. The aji amarillo peanut sauce has a smooth hint of spice.
