“As an Australian-themed steakhouse, we want to be known for our bold flavors and refreshing cocktails,” says Suzy, the Diner Supervisor at Outback Steakhouse, “quality and consistency is the Gold Standard for every Outback in the country.”

This family-oriented chain is known for their juicy steaks and Bloomin’ Onion dishes. However, the Icon location off I-Drive sets itself apart in their hospitality and hours. The restaurant opens its doors 7 days a week until midnight; perfect for late dine-in’s when you’re coming from a theme park after a fire work show. The I-Drive location is also open for lunch 7 days a week; something other locations may not offer. There’s also a free parking garage for the Icon 360 area, so no fret in taking your time to enjoy a meal as there is no hourly charge!

🍤 Steak & Unlimited Shrimp

For a limited time, Outback Steakhouse is offering Steak and Unlimited Shrimp starting at $17, including center-cut sirloin and Victoria’s Filet Mignon, paired with crispy shrimp or garlic herb butter shrimp.

As tempting as this deal is, we wanted to dig our forks into their new menu items. Check out some of our bites!

🍟 Aussie Sampler

This appetizer is perfect for an indecisive table as it offers several key bites. Their famous Bloom Petal Onions are diced and fried, offering a satisfying crisp with a moist inside. The Aussie Fries are topped with melted cheese and crispy bacon, which adds more grit to the texture. The Mac & Cheese Bites provide a small #CheesePull using Asiago, Mozzarella, and Parmesan, served alongside an in-house ranch dressing.

🍖 Pork Medallions

This limited-time dish is part of the featured menu, which rotates every 8 to 12 weeks. The focal point is seared pork tenderloin medallions, glazed with caramel mustard. The grilled pineapple woven between the pork provides a sweet flavor that compliments the meat juice and texture. The Mac & Cheese skillet features creamy cheddar and smoked Gouda, topped with toasted garlic breadcrumbs, adding some crisp!

🍗 Bloomin’ Fried Chicken

This menu item is Outback Steakhouse’s take on a classic Southern dish. It features a fried chicken breast, hand-battered in their signature Bloomin’ Onion seasoning. The crisp of the onion offers a unique crunch, while the drizzle of bloom sauce adds a kick of heat. The potato and broccoli added a neutral bite in between the flavors of the chicken.

🍪 Cookie Skillet

This decadent dish is reminiscent of a festive pizookie. The skillet is composed of a warm salted caramel cookie, white chocolate, almond toffee, and pretzels. It’s topped with vanilla ice cream to provide that hot & cold sensation, and garnished with mint leaves to demonstrate attention to presentation and color. The caramel drizzle elevates the sweetness even more!

Alongside great deals and new menu items, Outback Steakhouse also provides 10% off for active or retired military visitors. For locals looking to celebrate a special occasion, large parties can be hosted on the shaded, outdoor patio. This Outback Steakhouse is located in a destination area, so families can also visit complimentary, surrounding businesses that include Icon 360’s observation wheel or the wax museum. This cozy chain is a classic spot for family outings and late night dine-in’s.
