🌴 Pleasing Piece of Paradise at Paradiso37
“We try to offer the best of the Americas,” says Blake Levison, Beverage Manager for Paradiso 37, “our goal is to celebrate all the Americas, from North, Central, to South America.”
This high-energy eatery has a waterfront location in Disney Springs, holding an eclectic environment with several seating options during the day. Guests can enjoy traditional indoor seating, or opt for a more Floridan vibe by sitting outdoors or alongside a warm tequila bar that’s reminiscent of a beach bar.
“The 37 in our name reflects the 37 countries of the Americas,” clarifies Blake, “We incorporate elements from Canada, all the way to Argentina.”
Brunching at Paradiso 37 feels like a fiesta with a live performer moving from group to group. Table-side cocktail service offers excitement to your meal with a bartender shaking up a fresh drink. Take your group’s brunch-game to the next level with a huge Tequila Tower, or make a stop at the Bloody Mary Bar for a savory sip.
Alongside their lively brunch experience are clever Happy Hour deals:
🍸 Triple 5’s: Offered from opening to 5 p.m.; $5 Margarita’s, Sangria’s, and select wines
🎰 Triple 7’s (Jackpot): Offered from 5 p.m. to close; $7 Margaritas, Sangrias, and select wines & craft beers
Chef Mo Lakmichi is the Executive Chef at Paradiso 37 and has worked for the restaurant for 9 years. Several new menu items have been impressing guests, including a wide range of familiar food options with a sweet & savory flare. Check out some of our bites!
🍕 Flatbread
Their Tomato Basil Flatbread is composed of roasted cherry tomatoes sprinkled with thyme and oregano, which offer a woodsy note. Their Shrimp & Pineapple Flatbread features jumbo marinated shrimp, topped with with Poblano peppers. The grilled pineapple drizzled in BBQ sauce offers that sweet & savory flavor.
🌽 South American Crazy Corn
Unlike their North American, Mexican Elote counterpart, this corn offers a more sweet note and leaves out harsh spices. The melted cheese offers a satisfying #CheesePull, and there isn’t a kick of heat that you would normally expect from Latin street corn. This is another food option that fuses sweet & savory flavors.
🥩 Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp
This dish is their play on a classic Surf & Turf. The sizzling plate features a New York strip steak alongside jumbo shrimp and a vegetable medley of zucchini, squash, carrots, and green beans. The garlic mashed potatoes have thyme and oregano incorporated within it for a more pungent flavor.
🍔 Three Lil’ Pig Sliders
These sliders encompass pork shoulder that’s been roasted at a low temperature for 6 hours. The sauce offers a depth of flavor, amalgamating BBQ Sauce and whiskey. The pork is topped with grilled pineapple, offering a hint of sweetness for complexity and balance.
🥖 Churros
These fried Churros provide a wow-factor through its presentation. They’re looped and served dangling on a tower. Though I wish it had a gooey inside, the Churros provided that classic crunch, while the chocolate and caramel sauce aren’t overwhelmingly sweet; better than your average Nutella dip!
🍹 Category 5
This is one of my favorite cocktails from their new beverage menu. It’s refreshingly sweet, but not sugary-tasting. Consider it dangerous as the alcohol hides silently within it’s flavors. Another drink I enjoyed was their S’mores Old Fashion, which features whiskey and a marshmallow-cinnamon stick garnish.
Paradiso 37’s new menu options compliment their existing menu through offering a variety of appetizers and drinks. The brand new beverage menu stays up-to-speed with the seasons and guarantees freshness. Though their bars caters to the Margarita-drinking crowd, their rum bar offers more drink diversity.
When tourists and locals alike walk into Disney Springs in a group, it may be hard to find a restaurant that caters to everyone’s cravings. Paradiso 37 simplifies the problem by offering flavors from a huge part of the globe: all the Americas. It gives them a bigger variety than other concept restaurants. In tandem with live music and dancers, I would recommend this spot for a fun brunch with a group of friends.
