🍖 Sonny's BBQ Brings the Smoke & Fire

More Than “Meats” The Eye

“At the core, we’re about culture. Anyone that walks through the door is family.” says Kennon Adkinson, Senior Director of Catering & Marketing for Sonny’s BBQ in Central Florida. Adkinson unveiled their new, limited-time “Smoke & Fire” Summer dishes that feature twists on familiar menu items. Check out the moist meals that’ll satisfy your munchies this summer!

Hot Link & Pimiento Cheese Burger

This burger had a smooth kick, sporting cheddar hot links, banana peppers, and smoked pimento cheese atop a grilled beef patty.

Loaded Tots

The tater tots were extremely flavorful, holding pulled pork with queso and a drizzle of Spicy-Sweet BBQ Sauce. The tots are topped with crispy onion straws, adding another layer of texture.

Spicy Wings

These wings are both smoked and baked! The smokey flavor shines through, especially paired with their signature BBQ sauces.

Brisket Egg Rolls

If you’re a fan of their Redneck Egg Rolls, you’ll love this menu item. The Brisket Egg Rolls feature low-smoked brisket, homestyle mac & cheese, Pepper Jack, and Spicy-Sweet BBQ sauce.

Alongside the Sonny’s BBQ team were the brewers behind Hop Life Brewing Company, founded by Jim Kelly; partnered with Robert Tearle and Jeffrey Blitman. Jim and Rob are dedicated workers, portrayed with their successful careers in the fire service. Jim is a 33 year veteran firefighter and recently retired Battalion Chief. My personal favorite Hop Life beer was the Nut House Coffee Porter, which featured hazelnut notes.

Random Acts of BBQ

Sonny’s BBQ not only serves amazing BBQ, but they strive to make the world a better place, one delicious deed at a time. Random Acts of BBQ is their program that recognizes an individual who is making a difference through selflessly providing their time, talents and effort to the community. If an awesome individual comes to mind when thinking about these qualities, nominate them now!

It’s more than just a new menu; it’s a sizzling opportunity to experience the Smoke & Fire of the summer.

“It all comes back to the healing qualities that food and hospitality have,” explains Kennon, “The food may seem like the hero, but it’s really about the people and our ability to support the community.”
