“We’re constantly watching food trends in the market to see where it’s going,” clarifies Jenn Klein, General Manager of Yard House off International Drive, “Our Executive Chef is always looking for something new and exciting.” Yard House in Icon Park is staying up-to-speed with food evolution through introducing a new Lifestyle menu. This new rollout encompasses nutrient-dense ingredients, high-protein and more plant-based options.

The variety of new menu options cater to different diets, making it easier for visitors to keep up their fitness goals and new year’s resolutions. Take a site of our bites!

🍣 Ahi Sashimi

This dish has been a staple in the Yard House menu for years. Though it’s not a new menu item, it’s worth mentioning because it’s a light dish that delivers fish nutrients. The ahi is lightly seared for a flavorful coating, leaving the inside of the tuna raw. The dish is splashed in soy vinaigrette and served with pickled vegetables.

🍝 Shrimp Zoodles

Zucchini noodles are the base of this dish, making it healthier than gluten-filled dough noodles. The drizzle with house-made miso sauce contributes a savory flare. The chili flakes add depth to the dish with slight heat. The zoodles are tossed with shrimp for a taste of seafood, making it a light, yet filling menu option.

🐟 Halibut

This dish features a roasted halibut atop baby bok choy and asparagus. The porcini soy miso broth adds an umami flare. The bed of parmesan mashed potatoes adds a smooth texture to the dish, but can be avoided by visitors who are striving to limit their intake of starchy carbs.

🍔 Beyond Burger™

This classic vegan option features a plant-based burger bun, topped with pickles, vegan mozzarella, red onion, tomato, arugula, and smashed avocado. It’s served alongside greens tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. This vegan meal is anything but plain!

If you’re looking for something indulgent on your cheat day, no fret; Yard House still serves its delectable desserts, including their miniature trio sampler. This decadent option is a true guilty pleasure, as it features cheesecake brûlée, peach apple cobbler, chocolate and soufflé cake.

However, the new Lifestyle menu makes it easier for guests to step away from the sweets, with entrées that are both healthy and filling. Keto and vegan friends are all welcome to the table!
