🛍️ Flavorful Feast with Del Frisco's
Feeding the family a gourmet meal at home is made easier with Del Frisco’s take-out special. As of April 2020, the steakhouse offers a Family Menu that serves 3 gourmet courses at $35 per person. The meal covers appetizer, entrée, and dessert, with opportunities for entrée upgrades, including bone-in filet or 20 oz. prime porterhouse. Children’s meals can be added to Family Menu purchases for $5 each, featuring small bites served alongside apple slices or potato chips. Each take-out order is handed off curbside, in gift bags. Here’s my take on their take-out!
🥗 Classic Caesar
This appetizer is a familiar salad, featuring crisp Romaine lettuce topped with shaved Parmesan for a nutty cheese taste. The Texas croutons add crisp while maintaining a slight toasty softness. The salad is served alongside a cup of dressing, allowing guest to pour their preferred amount.
🦀 Crab Cakes
This dish features jumbo lump crab cakes that deliver a delicious seafood flavor. The onion and celery bits add additional texture to each bite. The Remoulade drizzle tops the flavors nicely, holding a creamy, savory taste. The buttery mashed potatoes are served on the side.
🥩 Ribeye
This steak dish features medium-rare prime ribeye that delivers a juicy bite. The fatty portions of the steak helped carry the savory juice flavor with each cut. The steak is served alongside Chateau mashed potatoes, which holds a buttery texture
🍰 Cheesecake
This dessert holds an indulgent cream with a tart taste that isn’t overwhelmingly sweet. The fruit bits add a hint of natural sweetness, while the pecan crust adds a satisfying crunch to each forkful.
During these uncertain times, their community support shines through their donation program. For every two boxed lunches purchased, Del Frisco’s will donate a meal to a First Responder or an essential worker in the Orlando community. Their box lunch menu is $14 per options, featuring menu items like shaved prime steak sandwiches and grilled chicken sandwiches.
