🥂 F&D Kitchen's Blissful, Bottomless Brunch Bites

This market-to-table, scratch kitchen in Lake Mary recently launched a Sunday brunch that highlights bottomless plate selections, alongside a full Bloody Mary bar with a variety of garnishes, including candied bacon and green peppers. The brunch menu features over 15 tapas-sized plates, allowing guests to pick at each others’ dishes and share bites. This communal-style dining experience affords visitors a chance to expand their palette and order something outside the box. Feast your eyes on a piece of our feast!
🍉 Watermelon Salad
This unique dish features a medley of pressed watermelon and smoked strawberry, topped with goat cheese, which adds a tart kick to the subtle sweetness of the fruit. The cooling taste of the mint compliments the refreshing fruit juices, making the dish more quenching. This selection provides a fun twist on a familiar, summer fruit salad.
🍞 Toasts & Short Ribs
The focal point of the toast dish is a slice of Ricottca sitting on an in-house crustini, accentuated by the sweet drizzle of locally-sourced honey. The sweetness of the honey toast was contrasted by the savory taste of the braised short ribs. The beefy flavor of the second dish is pronounced by polenta and pan-drippings to lock in the savory taste.
🍳 Eggs Benedict
This dish has a more prominent, savory kick than your typical Benedict as it utilizes Tasso ham. The heat is pronounced the with the drizzle of spicy Hollandaise sauce, which also adds smoothness to the texture of the ham. The eggs provide the perfect #YolkPorn action, which completes any brunch experience!
🧀 Lobster Mac & Cheese
Though the dish doesn’t feature a complex texture, leaving out a prominent layer of crumb topping, the plate executes a delicious, gooey cheese texture that provides a slight cheese-pull when served fresh. The buttery creaminess of the cheese compliments the seafood flavor of the lobster.
