🧆 Kingly Kebabs at Krazy Greek Kitchen
“We feel the support of the community, from our regular customers to new visitors,” says Alejandra, Co-Owner of the Krazy Greek Kitchen in Lake Mary, “we’ve been so fortunate that the locals have continued coming in since we took over.” Alejandra and her husband moved to Central Florida from New Jersey for a change in pace. They’ve took ownership of Krazy Greek Kitchen last year, and hope to grow the restaurant while staying true to the local community.
Every scratch-made dish at this restaurant offers traditional Mediterranean flavors, with strong herbs and fresh lemon. Though they’ve maintained many of the recipes since taking over, they’ve also added a twist in flavor for particular menu items. Take a sight of our bites!
🥒 Krazy Combo
This dish is perfect for sharing, loaded with pita bread and several dips. The hummus recipe was altered to be vegan-friendly, blended for a creamy texture that doesn’t require Greek yogurt. The Kopanisti utilizes feta and roasted red peppers for a kick of freshness. No pita dish is complete with Tzatziki, which incorporates fresh cucumber and rich spice.
🍢 Souvlakia
This kebob plate features chicken marinated in olive oil, splashed with house-made vinegar for acidity. The strong flavor of the herbs shine through while maintaining a smooth taste. The bed of rice also holds a subtle, savory flavor that pairs well with the chicken.
🥙 Gyro Platter
This crowd-favorite features gyro meat, served open-face over pita. The dish is interactive, allowing guests to wrap the pita to their liking. The meat is served alongside lettuce, tomato, and onions for freshness and moisture. The oven-roasted potatoes have a slight tang from the fresh lemon.
🐙 Octopus
The focal point of this dish is charbroiled octopus, which has a dynamic flavor that slaps you in the face. The fresh lemon gives it a kick of acidity that pairs well with a savory seafood taste. The garlic and Greek herbs contribute additional aroma without competing with the the medley of strong flavors.
This restaurant serves a European charm with its food and easy-going environment. It holds terrace seating that overlooks Lake Mary's Central Park for a breezy dining experience. They also offer private rooms for groups, as well as reservations for large groups in the main restaurant area.
