“Our authenticity is one of our greatest attributes,” clarifies Manuel Escalante, Manager & Head Server at Pio Pio Latin Cuisine. This family-owned restaurant is 22-years-old, currently presiding near I-Drive. Since moving to this new location 2 years ago, they’ve developed a full bar that offers a good variety of sipping tequila’s, margaritas, and Sangrias.

This Latin eatery specializes in Colombian cuisine, though also offers dishes with Peruvian flavor. Peep our plates!

🐟 Ceviche Pio Pio

This ceviche has a different flavor from the Peruvian-style ceviche that many are familiar with. This dish is a medley of white fish, shrimp, and red onions tossed in lime and mayo-ketchup. This ceviche has a more creamy texture, served alongside plantains.

🍛 Bandeja Paisa

This Colombian platter offers a variety of bites, which include with avocado, steak Hispanic sausage. The fried pork skin offers a satisfying, salty crunch that’s balanced by the sweetness of the plantains. The dish is completed with rice and beans, a staple in Colombian meals.

🍗 Chicken

This rotisserie-style chicken features Peruvian seasoning. The chicken is non-GMO and free of antibiotics. It’s moist and holds the poultry flavor well. The side of yuca provides more variety in texture.

🍮 Flan

The happy ending to every Latin meal; the focal point of this dish is a flan that’s smooth and fluffy in texture. The sweetness is balanced, with a kick from the side of chocolate drizzle.
