🍫 Way Chocolate Leads The Way

The Chocolateers at Way Chocolate in the heart of Downtown Winter Garden transform food into fun! Winter Garden Food Tours allowed us to go behind-the-scenes at Way Chocolate for an engaging tour that left us with a sugar rush. This is an experience that they may offer as a packaged tour in the future!

Station 1: Chocolate-Dipped Deliciousness

On the tour, one of the stations is a chocolate dipping station, where you learn the dip-and-shake technique used to beautifully coat food items in chocolate. These delectable, dip-able desserts include a caramel apple, fluffy marshmallow, pretzel stick, peanut butter cracker, candied apricot, and a classic strawberry. Though it may get a little messy, dipping anything into chocolate will make you smile.

Station 2: Macaron-Making

At this station, components of the perfect macaron are laid out in front of you and giving you an opportunity to create half-a-dozen customizable macarons. The macaron shells are pre-baked with perfect feet, and the filling is already bagged, ready to be piped. Fun filling flavors include cotton candy, Nutella, and vanilla.

Station 3: Affection for Affogato

If you need a pick-me-up, this station with give you a sweet jolt. Choose from several gelato flavors and have hot espresso poured over as a hot & cold dessert!

When life happens, chocolate helps.

Producing these sweet treats myself allowed me to appreciate Way Chocolate’s creations that much more. This experience would make a perfect date for a couple celebrating a special occasion, or a group of foodie friends looking for an engaging culinary experience.
