💚 Heart-Melting Vibes at Melts On Main

“You’d be surprised to see where your own creativity could take you,” says Ashley Morton, Owner of Melts on Main in Winter Garden, who flipped a kitschy 80’s-themed mom & pop shop into an earthy café with organic vibes. Chic decor, such as furniture pieces made from Etsy artists, provide a minimal aesthetic. The ambiance feels clean and modern; a stark contrast to the overwhelming green walls and clown decorations that inhabited the space prior.

Ashley is a 22-year-old from France who grew up in Dr. Phillips. She collaborates with local suppliers, including farmers down the street, for produce and ingredients. The cafés attention to sourcing ensures quality and freshness in their dishes. They’re accommodating of dietary restrictions, including vegan options on the menu. Feast your eyes on some breakfast bites!

🥗 Caprese Salad

This board features vine-ripened tomatoes stacked with fresh mozarella. The drizzle of balsamic glaze provided a tart taste, in concert with the peppery flavor of the arugula.

🐟 Poke Bowl

The base of the bowl is composed of greens and quinoa, topped with a medley of soy-marinated ahi tuna, avocado, and mango. The soy sauce added a kick of salt to the dish, and the fish tasted fresh.

🥪 Fall Melt

This sandwich melt delivers autumn vibes with the sweet flavors of the apple chutney, alongside the gooey sensation of melted prosciutto and gruyère. Served beside it are chips and salad.

🍇 Açaí Bowl

This breakfast energizer features açaí smoothie topped with blueberry and banana. The açaí tasted fresh without being overly sweet, and the granola added that classic, crunchy texture.

This new brasserie-style concept is the middle ground between a coffee shop and a restaurant as it focuses on light bites and drinks. It’s the perfect place for breakfast with a friend, or for a light bite during an off hour in the day when a heavy meal isn’t appropriate. The café is tucked in a side street off Winter Garden’s Plant Street, so you’d have to walk off the beaten path to discover this gem!
